general earthmoving sector, withLiebherr
topremier anew crawler excavator at the
show and also showcasenewdozers and
concretepumps, amongother equipment. The
company said that the 40 tonneR946 crawler
excavator it planned tounveil is poweredby
anEUStage IV/USTier 4Final compliant
200kW (268hp) Liebherr engine. Keydesign
features include advancedhydraulics, reduced
maintenance and a spacious cab.
The company’s newStage IV/Tier 4Final
PR746 andPR756dozerswill alsobe on
show, withoperatingweights of 20 to40
tonnes respectively, while thenew37Z4XXT
truck-mounted concretepumpwill alsobe on
the stand, featuring a four-section37mboom.
RDS,meanwhile, said it planned to
showcase anew retrofittableweighing scale
for tracked andwheeled excavators in the
formof theLoadex100.Designed toweigh
the amount ofmaterial in thebucket, the
devicehas beendeveloped tooperatewithin
the fastest loading environmentsmaximising
tonnes per hour performance.
The company also said itwould alsohave
its Loadmaster a100on-boardweighing scale
forwheeled loaders ondisplay. It said this
device features anewCANbased system
For smaller loaders and skid-steers, RDS
offers theWeighlog a10, which alsobenefits
from a colour touch screendisplay. This
instrument is said tobe auser friendly
on-boardweighing systemwhichprovides
accurate and consistent bucket and total load
results,meaning stockmanagement and
check-weighingoperations canbe controlled
more effectively.
For the crushing and screening
combining sensor technology and signal
processing techniques toprovides precise and
consistent bucketweight information.
TheLoadmaster a100uses a 7 in (178mm)
colour touch screendisplay and additional
physical keys and is said tobe suitable for
usewithup to10different attachments –
e.g. buckets or forks. The system can also
be retrofittedontowheeled, telescopic and
tractor type loaders.
