WorldofConcrete events.
And togetherwith the emphasis on
concrete through theWOCEurope
partnership, Intermat alsoplans to shine a
light on thedemolition and recycling sector as
well as hand-held construction tools.
D&Ri
understands that it is likely the show
will be the venue for the launchof several
new excavators specifically aimed at the
demolition sector. Therehas been adistinct
lackof suchmachines in recentmonths as
manufacturers haveworked towards achieving
Tier 4Final/ Stage IV compliance for their
standardmachines before looking towards the
demolition industry. It is anumber of these
machinesmodified for thedemolition role
that are likely tograce theParis showground,
with at least Liebherr andKomatsu looking
news that Intermatwill host a specialWorld
ofConcreteEurope (WoCEurope) segment,
organised in conjunctionwithHanleyWood,
theorganiser of the annualWorldofConcrete
exhibition in theUSA.
Situated at the front ofHall 7,WoC
Europewill featureproducts from the
concrete andmasonry sector targeting the
commercial construction industry, including
concretemixing equipment andmachinery,
concreteproduction equipment, pre-cast
tools, equipment for concreteplacing and
softwarepackages.Demonstrations of the
latest innovations in concretewill takeplace
on theplazaoutside thehall. The emphasis
will beplacedon aprogrammeof educational
presentations and training&demonstration
workshops, which are akey component of all
