t this year’s Intermat, the organisers
be introducing anew and, they say,
improved exhibition layoutwith the
floor plan for the 2015 event havingbeen
totally reorganised around its traditional
exhibition areas at theParis-NordVillepinte
exhibition centre, namely theoutside
demonstration areas togetherwithhalls 5A,
5B and6. As part of this reorganisation,Hall 7
is beingused insteadofHalls 3 and4.
Opened in2010,Hall 7 covers 15,000m
2
(162,000 ft
2
) andoffers visitors and exhibitors
the benefits ofmodern and functional
exhibition facilities. It is also apioneer
in exhibition infrastructure inFrance as
itwas built tohigh environment quality
(HQE) standards and is fittedwith the
largest green (planted) roof in the country.
According to theorganisers, this
reorganisation aims to exhibit a global
offering that is fully representative
of the construction industry
that covers every stageof
the cycle from extraction to
recycling via construction.
It is hoped that his new
arrangementwill provide
visitorswith a smoother visiting
experiencebetween thehalls and the
exterior demonstration zones.
April will seewhat is likely to be the largest construction trade
show of the year, Intermat 2015.
