of skid steer loaders. “The totalmarket in
Europe is quite small,”he said, but he added
that successful introductions hadbeenmade,
mainly inSwitzerland,Norway andRussia.
"NewStage IIIBmodelswere introduced
in the autumn, and theyhave several new
options that arebeneficial for our customers.”

but said, “Wewill, of course, target and
follow the changes inmarket demand
and legislations – especially concerning the
environment, which is oneof our core values.”
Avant Tecnohas launched the 760i, which
it calls its new flagshipmodel, as it is the
biggest, fastest andmost powerful loader
in theAvant range. The 760i is described as
beingpackedwithmodern engine technology
providingmore torque and enhanced
performance, but at the same time, lower fuel
consumption, exhaust emissions andnoise.
The company said the 760i couldbe
described as thebiggestmini loader in the
world. It claimed the features successfully
combined the lift capacity andwork efficiency
because of damage to already constructed
areas.”

WhileVolvoConstructionEquipment has
not launched anynew compactwheeled
loaders lately– themost recentmachines
were theL25Fwithnew stage 3A engine and
theL30-35Gwith stage 3B engines –Per Leis,
utilitydirector forEMEA, said that customer-
adaptedoptions and attachmentswere the
main focuses now.
Hewent on to say that aswork inurban
areaswas increasing, thedemand for smaller
machines of less than2 tonneswas increasing.
The 200,000thmini excavator produced by Hitachi
ConstructionMachinery Tierra Co., Ltd. has been
delivered toNEWO-BAU. The ZX65USB-5was
presented to theBavarian construction company
by GermanHitachi dealer Kiesel at the GaLaBau
landscaping and gardening exhibition in September.
The newmini joinsNEWO-BAU’s expanding
fleet of 10Hitachi machines, which includes three
ZX85US-3s and five ZX225USLC-3s. Founded in 1978,
the family-owned contractor specialises in utilities
for the public and private sectors.
