a vessel onto specialized trailers using a
floating crane. The transformerwas 11.45
metres long, 3.83mwide and4.36m tall.

Nürnberg,while the two radiator batteries
were shipped from a loadingpoint on
theMain-Danube-canal.On arrival at
Brunsbüttel Elbeharbour, the transformer
was liftedover thequaywall using a
floating crane and loadedonto specialized

Manufacturer Volvo is now offering its FL truck in a four-wheel drive version for service
and off road applications. It has a raised off road defined chassis and 22.5 inchwheels,
which increases its ground clearance by just over 60mm at the front and 100mm at the
rear, themanufacturer said. The FL 4x4 has a six cylinder Volvo D8K engine at 250 or
280 hp and a 6-speedmanual gearbox as standard. An automatic gearboxwill be available
to special order, themanufacturer said. The new truck is availablewith Euro-6 engine
exhaust emission specification and in 12, 14 or 16 tonne GVW load classes.
