HILLHEAD SHOWGUIDE
further refinements that enhance the user
experience that include an hydraulic raise/
lower and slew on the forth conveyor. The
machine is designed to run in tandem with
primary, secondary or tertiary crushers in
order to produce the cleanest aggregates with
ease.
In the demonstration area, visitors to the
show will be able to see a number of machines
in operation – a QJ341 jaw crusher will be
feeding a QH441 cone that features a brand
new product being seen for the first time
– a new hanging screen. This will also be
operating on a QS331 cone that will be fed by
a second QJ341. A QA331 mobile screen will
also be put through its paces in the demo area,
Terex will have a major presence at
Hillhead through its Powerscreen and Finlay
divisions. The former will have four new
machines on show – the Premiertrak 300 HA
jaw, Warrior 2100 screen, Premiertrak 600
diesel/electric jaw and the Maxtrak 1150 cone
crusher.
The Premiertrak 300 features a new
hydrostatic drive system option allowing it
to reverse and unblock or run continuously
in reverse for asphalt applications. It is
designed to run at low engine rpm, resulting
in excellent fuel efficiency and low noise
emissions. It features a Vibrating Grizzly
Feeder (VGF) set with 50 mm bofor bar on
the top deck and 30 mm mesh on the bottom.
The closed side setting (CSS) can be set to
40 mm while running in both asphalt and
recycled concrete applications.
The Trakpactor 320SR is a mid-sized
horizontal impact crusher redesigned to offer
operators and contractors excellent reduction
and high consistency of product shape
for performance in quarry and recycling
applications, says the company. The plant is
capable of working in the most demanding
environments and features rapid set-up time,
fuel efficient direct drive system and an
output potential of up to 320 tonnes per hour.
The Warrior 2100 screen is engineered
to include Powerscreen’s proven Triple Shaft
technology, first developed for the successful
Warrior 2400, a model now well established in
markets worldwide. This technology, unique
to Powerscreen’s heavy duty mobile screens,
is designed so that the 4.9 x 1.5 m (16 x 5 ft)
screen box is highly effective and efficient
while maintaining exceptional throughput
productivity.
Terex Finlay, meantime, will be exhibiting
new product launches, machines launched in
the last six months or preview models due for
launch later this year.
On the screen side will be the 893 heavy
