D&Ri
a real read
The results of our recent reader’s survey paint an extremely bright picture for the effectiveness of this
magazine. According to the collated results, a number of key points can bemade as follows.
D&Ri
is an incredibly well-readmagazine with 98.9% of respondents who receive themagazine
actually reading it, with 20% saying they read it “cover to cover” and 93.6% reporting they read
at least one article in every issue. It also features a high with a pass-on readership, with 95.7% of
respondents saying that they regularly pass on issues to one ormore other readers.
The fully international nature of themagazine was confirmed, with 50.6% of those who took part in
the survey working in Europe, 23% inNorth and South America, and 20% in Asia Pacific.
And there is good news for the advertisers that support our activities as well. The results confirmed
we are proving successful in our aim of reaching buyers and influencing their purchasing decisions, with
71.6% of respondents having control over an annual equipment purchasing budget over 50,000 euros
(32.1% of these have a budget over 250,000 euros) and 72.9% of the readers who responded say
that their purchasing decisions were influenced by the contents of
D&Ri
.
It is heartening to see that ourmagazine is so well received by the world demolition industry and I
would like to extendmy thanks to all those who took the time to complete the questionnaire. Finally, the
lucky winner of the high reach demolition excavatormodel, courtesy of Komatsu, is Shane Durand of
Central Environmental Inc, headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska.
