The 2015World of
Concretewill be the largest
show they’ve put on in over
six yearswith 630,000+
net square feet of indoor and
outdoor exhibit space and over
1,300 exhibitors. The event
takes place February 3-6 at
the Las Vegas Convention
Center.
iTAP, the award-winning
“intelligent Trailer Access
Point” developed by Knorr-
Bremse nowmakes life
easier for drivers of vehicles
with heavy-duty axles – as
long as they are driving a
Goldhofer semitrailer with
independent suspension like
the newMPA generation.
In the framework of a joint
development project, the
two system partners have
scored another first with
the implementation of iTAP
functionality in vehicles with
hydraulic suspension. This
means that drivers with
heavy loads can now take
advantage of the numerous
iTAP features, too, like using
their smartphones to adjust
ride height.

SC&RA’s upcoming
January webinar
features Harry Fry
Current trends give the impression that there is a newway to
finance a company’s equipment. Trends, however, don’t always
provide the proper path or direction for all companies.
In an upcomingwebinar organized by SC&RA, Harry Fry, of Harry
Fry &Associates, will provide an analysis of themajor equipment
sectors for the equipment finance industry. Fry will outline several
areas regarding rates and terms encountered by our industry in
the currentmarket. In addition, hewill answer questions, including
“Should a company lease or finance their equipment?”
Thewebinar will be held on January 21, 2015 at 12 pm EST. For

Talbert adds 4050TA

Manufacturing’sTraveling
Axle Series, is ideal for haulers
whoneed the flexibilityof a
California-legal trailerwith
a lower deckheight to clear
bridges and tunnelswhen
transporting taller equipment.
Thenew trailer features
an industry-leading36-inch
deckheight and aCalifornia-
legal trailer length.Along
withproviding additional
clearance, the lower deck
height equates to extra load
opportunities.
Talbert increased the4050TA
capacity from70,000 to80,000
pounds evenlydistributedor
50,000pounds in10 feet and
reduced the lower deckheight
to36 inches. The 4050TA
also features a7-degree load
angle and anupdated e-chain
for the air and electrical lines.
Talbert alsohas increased the
number of keyholes across the
rear of the trailer toprovide
additional flexibilitywhen
drivers tie items down. In
addition, the 4050TA features
Talbert’s signaturepiggy-back
cylinder, nowwith a larger
diameter, and an improved,
lockable toolbox that includes
aweather resistant door seal,
upgradedhardware and chain
rack.
Talbert designed the 50-foot
trailer forHaleTrailer, a sales,
rental and leasingdealer for

wanted a trailer thatwould
complywith the 40-foot
length laws inCalifornia. The
state’s kingpin regulations
restrict thedistance from the
kingpin to the rear axle to40
feet or less. Talbert pushed
thedeck length to the limit,
designing a50-foot traveling
axle trailer that complieswith
kingpin laws in all states.

job siteswhere time isof the
essence,” saidCoryFedoruk,
EPCOR craneoperator. “We
have tode-energize and
ground the equipmentwe
workon.Wehave limited
outagesonmost jobs,which
results ina compressed
timeframe to completeour
work. TheNBT16 canquickly
move inand complete the lifts,
whereas another cranewould
takemuch longer to set upand
prep for the job, increasing
the cost and time spent ona
