Access show
For those visitors interested in aerial
platforms, the sold out APEX show being
held in an adjoining hall and outside the
RAI offers yet another benefit.
M
ore than 100 exhibitors from all over the world,
including China, have confirmed their stand space
and will demonstrate their products and services in a
live environment. APEXwill feature an inside exhibition area of
11,000m
2
– a substantial increase from the 10,000m
2
at the last
show, held atMECCMaastricht in 2011.The outside area will
be 10,000m
2
, almost double the size of the last edition.
The three-day event will serve as an important platform for
networking, knowledge sharing, and shaping the industry’s
future. “We can already say that APEX 2014will be the biggest
international access industry fair anywhere in the world,” said
Tony Kenter, managing director of show organiser Industrial
Promotions International (IPI).
“Amsterdam is becoming thenew capital of the access industry,
and is the perfect international setting. APEX is the showcase for
all companies in the international access business, andwill be the
world’s largest ever access exhibition in2014– the figures clearly
show APEX is the ‘leading fair’ for this industry. Whatever
visitors will be looking for, theywill find it at APEX.”
All previous seven shows – the first was in 1996 – have been
held inMaastricht inmid-September.The new June datesmean
the showwill be held before the summer vacationperiod.
Exhibitors include Genie, Manitou, JLG, Comet, Skyjack,
Holland Lift, MEC, Socage, Riwal, Easy Lift, Imer, Merlo,
Teupen, TVH, ATN, Ruthmann/Time International, Bronto,
Palfinger, Multitel Pagliero, CMC, Dinolift and Omme Lift/
Kors.
The world’s tallest boomwill be one of the must-see products
at APEX – JLG’s new 185 ft (56.4 m)
1850SJ Ultra Boom, taking centre stage
on themanufacturer’s stand. It is the first
time the machine will be displayed on
European soil.
