The judges said themore than50 entries for the awards,
“Demonstrated the passion and enthusiasm that is in the rental
industry, with companies proud of their achievements andwilling to
share their experiences.
“Even in a generally difficult year for rental inEurope, as 2013
was,many companieswere able to grow and innovate. It was
encouraging, for example, to see small companiesmaking their own
space in themarket, oftenwithniche products or innew sectors – a
sign that there are great opportunities still to be found in rental.”

excavators, and stability is achieved without the need for

Hitachi says it is not yet in a position to
disclose details of what it will show at IRE,
except to say that it will “add a new range
of compact products to our range for
the rental market. We think that the
IRE is an excellent opportunity to
introduce these products.”

Both the ERA Convention and the awards dinner take
