Phoenix contributes to the
cure with pink-painted crane
Atlanta-based Phoenix Crane
Rental is flying the flag for
breast cancer awareness after
taking delivery of its second
pink crane from Terex.
The Terex T 340-1 hydraulic
truck crane sports a fresh pint
paint job, donated by Terex
fleet of lifting equipment,
which includes 70 models
ranging from 12-ton boom
trucks to 275-ton hydraulic
truck cranes. This will give
the company two pink 40-ton
truck cranes in its fleet.
Phoenix Crane’s first female
crane operator, Jessica Ives,
will run the crane. Phoenix
Crane will donate a portion
of rental revenues from both
cranes to It’s the Journey.
“We have every intention
to keep both Terex pink
cranes in operation for the
lifetime of the equipment,”
said Karen Barton, CFO/
vice president, Phoenix
Crane. “Every dollar we can
contribute yields a far greater
personal and organizational
return than anything else
we could have gotten
involved in.”
