as a graphic designer. In the beginning,
she was just a worker bee in the tradeshow
planning process, serving as a project
coordinator for various elements of the
booth design. In 2009 she pulled off her
first ConExpo as the chief planner. She
knows the ropes now and is instrumental
in every facet of planning for the Link-
Belt booth, from the first budget meeting
to the first flat drawing, to packing and
unpacking crates to the finish-out of the
space, to the set-up of the cranes to the
final polishing of the cranes.
“We are very hands-on in the tradeshow
planning process,” says Creasman,
Link-Belt’s supervisor of marketing
communications. “We design the space,
pick out our finishes, and build the
diorama to make sure everything will fit.
Our three-person department oversees
the process but almost everyone in the
company is involved in one way or
another.”
With less than four months from
ConExpo 2014, Creasman and her team
have ironed out all the details.
“We have worked this year to find
solutions to make things better, easier
and more economical and yet still not
take away from the customer experience,”
The countdown to

and the folks doing the
planning are already
wrapping up the details.
