Two hydraulically-operated shutteringmachines are being used for the efficient realization
of 33 tunnel elementswith a length of 180m using the incremental launchingmethod.
The 180m long tunnel tube sections are
pushed from the field factory into a dry dock,
sealed bymeans of bulkheads, flooded and
then towed to their final positions.
