D.Ann Shiffler
reports that from the
perspective of the crane,

ICUEE was a big hit.
Homerun in
Link-Belt’s TCC750, which is still
in testing, may have been the lone
crane on the stand, but interest
was high in this 80-ton capacity
telecrawler. The crane features a
2014 Tier 4 final engine package
and will be available in the second
quarter of 2014.
Lift Safety Zone
from NCCCO
The National Commission for the
Certification of Crane Operators featured
its Lift Safety Zone at ICUEE, which
included demonstrations of the new
CCO Service Truck Crane (STC) Operator
certification practical exam, as well as
demos of the CCO Digger Derrick Operator,
Articulating Crane Operator and Rigger
practical exams. Demonstrations included
testing requirements from NCCCO’s latest
certification programs including Service

New from Manitex is
the 3051T, a 30-ton
capacity boom truck
with the innovative
inverted T cross-
section boom design.
National Crane
exhibited the 33-ton
capacity NBT33-TU
track unit, which
is similar to the
National 1400A boom
truck, but is mounted
on tracks for the
navigation of rugged

a five-section, 127-
foot boom.
A
variety of booms filled the
skies over the Kentucky
Exposition Center in Louisville
October 1-3 at ICUEE, International

Exposition. A range of lifting equipment
targeted to the utility industry was on
display, with Tadano Mantis and Link-Belt
showing the highest capacity cranes with
the 77-ton Tadano Mantis 15010 and the
80-ton capacity TCC750, respectively.
According to AEM, 2013 ICUEE was a
