joins the CDE team having
previously been involved in the
development of the CDE Asia
mining business in India.

announced the
promotion of
Zach Stark
to the position
of divisional
manager of its Industrial
Division. He has been with
the company for nine years,
starting as a burner and
ground-man straight out
of college. He eventually
worked his way up to project
manager before assuming his

Nuclear agreement
formalised
The initial cooperationagreement
betweenSellafield andTEPCO
FDEChasnowbeen formally
ratifiedwith full signing taking
placeonMonday29September.
The cooperation agreement
enables the transfer of knowledge
and experiencebetween
TEPCO,who are chargedwith
decontaminating theFukushima
plant thatwas devastatedby an
earthquake and tsunami in2011,
andSellafieldLtd, theNuclear
Management Partners’ owned
company that is responsible for
cleaningup theEurope’smost
thewide rangeof businesses that
are integral to theprogresswe are
making. It is alsovery important
thatwehave theopportunity to
learnnew skills, techniques and
methods that arebeingdeveloped
byTEPCOduring theirwork at
Fukushima”

thatwe are able to share the

Sellafieldbyour own staff and
WackerNeuson is set to begin
production of skid steer and
compact tracked loaders in the
USA in the first quarter of 2015.
A new production line is currently
being put together at the company’s
Menomonee Falls facility in
Wisconsin, which once complete
will initially be used to produce four
models - the SW24 and SW28 skid
steerswith payloads of 1,090 kg
(2,400 lb) and 1,273 kg (2,800 kg)
respectively and the ST35 and ST45
compact track loaderswith payloads
of 1,591 kg (3,500 lb) and 2,045 kg
(4,500). The company said that a
local development team is currently
working on furthermodels towiden
the range the plantwill produce.
The USA is the largestmarket for
skid steer loaders. “Our strategy
is ‘in the region for the region’.
So itmakes sense for us to build
skid steer loaders in the region
where demand is strongest –North
America,” explained CemPeksaglam,
CEO ofWackerNeuson SE.
Date set for ICEF
The International Construction Equipment Forum (ICEF) will be held
in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on 2 and 3November, 2015. The
conference and awards dinner is intended as a global meeting
place for buyers and users of construction equipment.

JCB adds to Indian
capacity
JCBhasopened twonew factories
in Jaipur, India, representing
an investment of £62million
(US$100million). Theopening
of the factories comes as
JCB celebrates 35yearsof
manufacturing in India,where
itnowhas five facilities. JCB
chairmanLordBamfordwas
joinedbyVasundharaRaje, chief
ministerofRajasthan, at the
official openingof the twonew
plantsona46.5Ha (115acre)
site,whichwill provide93,000

space.
When fullyoperational the
factorieswill employ1,000people
andmanufacture components
aswell as skid steer loaders and
telescopichandlers for the Indian
market. Theywill alsoprovide
