MEC AERIAL WORK PLATFORMS (6318)
will
display two scissor lift models at the show – an
updated electric Crossover ERT midsized rough
terrain scissor and the 4069 scissor lift.
The electric Crossover ERT is a four wheel
drive RT scissor lift that is available in lift heights
of 26 and 32 feet. Outriggers are optionally
available. The machine is getting enhanced as
well with a slight redesign to the drive system
that includes larger wheel motors that will bring
33 percent more torque, the company says.
The other machine MEC will be displaying
is the 4069. The MEC 4069 made its debut
in 2013 and brought a 40-foot RT scissor lift

to the market that included the ability to drive
at full height, full time four wheel drive and a
900-pound lift capacity. As with the Crossover,
the 4069 comes standard with a side mounted
sheet material rack that resides within the
footprint of the chassis and can be equipped
with rail mounted pipe rack cradles for overhead
pipe installation. The MEC 4069 is available to
buyers in an electric version or can be ordered
to be powered by a Kubota D1105 diesel engine.
SKYJACK (4139)
will be showcasing an
assortment of its product offering and also
plans to announce the winner of its Quest 2013
competition to find its own oldest operating
scissor lift. Among some of Skyjack’s aerial
work platform equipment on display will be the
SJ12 and SJ16 self-propelled vertical mast lifts.
Scissor models on display will consist of the SJIII
3219, SJIII 3226, SJIII 4632, SJIII 6832RT and
SJ9250 RT. Skyjack booms will be represented
by the SJ66T telescopic boom, SJ46AJ and the
SJ63AJ.
