engine. The engine is designed in such a way
that it does not require a diesel particulate filter,
only a diesel oxidation catalyst muffler. The
power of the new engine is 55.4 kW (74 HP) at
2600 rpm compared to 50 kW (67 HP) at 2600
rpm of the original.
The new unit is available now for ANSI and
CSA markets, and for South America at the
beginning of this quarter.

IPAF (4614)
to view demonstrations of
the operator eLearning module and the AWPs
for Managers training course. The eLearning
module is offered in conjunction with hands-
on operational proficiency evaluation which
is required for successful operator training.
The AWPs for Managers course focuses on
classroom theory instruction on all aspects of
safe use and is
aimed at those who
supervise AWP operators.
JCB (4946)
will showcase its
newest telehandlers; the 516-42
Loadall and 525-60 Loadall. The 516-
42 features JCB’s new high-torque,
low-emission Ecomax diesel engine
that meets U.S. Tier 4 Interim (Tier 4i)
emissions standards. The 516-42
is a member of JCB’s line of seven
high-boom, lift-and-place Loadalls
with capacities ranging from 6,000
to 16,000 pounds.
The 516-42 Loadall has a
maximum lift height of 42
feet. The 516-42’s boom is
positioned high for optimum
operator visibility. A hydraulic cylinder
mounted underneath the outer boom extends
the boom’s intermediate, second and third
stages resulting in increased cycle times. Inside
the machine’s cab, a large right-hand cluster
provides at-a-glance reading of its instrument
display.
The 525-60 Loadall has a machine height
of 6 feet, 3 inches and a width of 5 feet, 10
inches. The 526-50 features a Tier4 Final 74-hp
Ecomax engine, a maximum lift capacity of
