designed to boost jobsite efficiency and
performance. The Elliott Equipment booth will
include cranes with capacities to 45 tons. Elliott
will also introduce several new models at the
show.
Some of the product updates and solutions
that will be unveiled at the ICUEE show include
a specialized configuration of Elliott’s 40-ton
40142R BoomTruck featuring reduced spread
secondary outriggers, a weight
optimized structural design for a
federal bridge legal configuration on
4 axles, and an advanced stability
profile for a 360 degree work area
without a front stabilizer. Other new
accessories to be unveiled include a new
55-foot jib for working heights over 210
feet on the 40142R, and a wide range of other
accessories and chassis configurations geared
toward the utility and construction industries.
Manitowoc
(N2021)
Manitowoc will exhibit two National Crane
products, the National Crane NBT45 boom
truck and the NBT33-TU track unit crane.
Both are mobile on and off the jobsite, travel
on highways with
little need for permitting and
require very little setup and tear down time,
Manitowoc says.
The National crane NBT45 features a 45-ton
capacity and a 161-foot, five-section boom, the
longest in its size range, the company says. The
crane is also available with boom lengths of 103
feet, 127 feet and 142 feet.
The NBT33-TU is similar to the 1400A boom
truck, but is mounted on tracks for the navigation
of rugged terrain. It features a five-section, 127-
foot boom, 33-ton capacity and Vision cab.
Also featured on the booth will be the National
Crane Truck Modification Center, which was
developed and launched last year. “This one-
stop shop for boom truck customization has
reinvented the boom truck modification process
for National Crane customers,” Manitowoc says.
Six cranes will be featured in other exhibitor
booths, including a NBT15 at the National
Commission for the Certification of Crane
Operators stand a NBT15 mounted on a F750
truck at Ford Motor Company’s booth; two
NBT40 cranes – one mounted onto a track unit,
and another mounted on a tri-drive truck – as
well as a NBT36 boom truck at Custom Truck
& Equipment’s exhibit; and a 1400H at Scott
Powerline’s stand.
