Star-studded
AWRF meeting
Members of the Associated
Wire Rope Fabricators are
gearing up for a star-studded
general meeting when the
group convenes in Los
Angeles October 20-23.
The meeting will begin
with a meet and greet event
on the evening of October
20 and will end with a golf
tournament at the Rancho
Park Golf Course October 23.
Also included in the meeting
is the AWRF Tour, which
includes a luxury coach tour
in Hollywood.
“The tour guides not only
give facts about the area but
they bring Hollywood to
life with their insight into
the glitz and glamour that
makes Hollywood so special,”
according to AWRF.
Highlights of the tour
include the Chinese
Theatre, The Grove/Farmers
Market; Hollywood Walk of
Fame, Kodak Theatre, the
Hollywood sign, Rodeo Drive,
Sunset Strip, The Los Angeles
County Museum of Art, Pink’s
Hot Dogs and Hollywood &
Vine.
The registration fee is $430
per person until October 11
when it goes up to $475 per
person. The costs covered by
the registration include four
receptions, two breakfasts,
the banquet and the general
meeting sessions. The golf
tournament fee is $125 per
person and the AWRF Tour is
$95 per person.
