■ RothlehnerGroup has reported a profi table2014 and is cautiously optimist
for 2015. This year the group’ s turnover hit target at about €30millionwith sales
of 650platforms, surpassed only by the boom years of 2007 and2008, said the
company. “ With rathermore cautious optimism for 2015, we expect consolidation at
a high level,” added a company spokesman. Rothlehner bought the rights toDanish
truck and trailermountmanufacturer Denka’ s products in2013. The company used
APEX in June this year to offi cially present the acquisition and the newworldwide
DenkaSupport service.
■ UK-headquartered rental company AshteadGroup, the parent of Sunbelt and
A-Plant, has said it forecasts full-year results to exceed its previous expectations
after reporting a strong fi rst half. The company saidunderlying rental revenues
for the sixmonths ending31 O ctober, 2014, were up24% year-on-year to £ 896
million ( €1.13billion) , while underlying operatingprofi t jumped34% to £ 295million
( €373million) . UK-basedA-Plant reportedhalf-year revenues of £ 166million ( €210
million) , compared to £ 138million ( €175million) a year ago, whileSunbelt saw
revenues increase to £ 822million ( €1.04billion) from £ 712million ( €901million) in
the fi rst sixmonths of 2013.
■ Finnish rental company Ramirent has issued amore downbeat full-year
2014 outlook, and said it expected to be hit by €4million in restructuring costs.
President andCEO MagnusRosé n said the revisionwas due to the accelerating
impact on the company’ smainmarkets of geopolitical uncertainty combinedwith
a rapidly declining oil price.“ We anticipate amoderate decline in the net sales
level in the fourthquarter compared to fourthquarter 2013,” he said. “ As a result,
our investments in the rental fleet are heldback. In addition, we are taking further
measures to improve the performance. Previously, Ramirent said economic growth
in2014wouldbemodest and constructiondemand remainsmixed in coremarkets.

has appointed ReachMaster
as its new distributor for the
US, Canada and Puerto Rico,
effective 1 January, 2015.
ReachMaster is responsible
for all Dino sales and after
sales support of the complete
Dino range, including its line of
Dino trailer lifts and self-propelledmachines, such as the RXT self-
propelled articulated boom lift with outriggers.
