Entrec Corporation reported
a 7 percent rise in revenue
from$49.31million to $52.92
million in its second quarter
results. The revenue growth
reflects business acquisitions
made by Entrec in the preceding
12months. On the expansion
of Entrec into PrinceRupert,
John Stevens, Entrec president
and chief executive, said, “We
expect utilization levels for
our crawler and rough terrain
craneswill increase over the
next sixmonths as project work
begins to ramp up.”
Effective September 2,
2014, permitted loadswill be
allowed to access the Stan
Musial VeteransMemorial
Bridge on Interstate 70. The
cable-stayed bridge crosses
theMississippi River between
St. Clair County, IL and St.
Louis,MO. The bridge opened
on February 9, 2014. Permit
accesswill save heavy haulers
asmuch as 70 extramiles per
trip. The SC&RAworkedwith
DOT officials fromMissouri
and Illinois to open the bridge
to permitted loads. “This is
another example of state
government officials listening
to the concerns of industry and
finding a reasonable solution
that results in safety and
efficiencies for all concerned,”
said SC&RAVice President
Steven Todd. “Hats off to Scott
Marion andDebbie Bradshaw
inMissouri andGeno Koehler in
Illinois for theirmany hours of
efforts resolving this issue.”
Ridewell Suspensions
has introduced a new series
of trailer suspensions to
theRSS-233 line. The new
13,200-pound capacity
Ridewell suspensions are
designed to reduceweight
without sacrificing durability,
the company said. The 233
series 13K suspensions are
manufacturedwith a dual draw
key kingpin design to extend
kingpin life and feature fully
cast axle ends for increased
strength.

Agreement has been reached
forBarnhart topurchase
CraneRental&Rigging
ofOmaha,NE.With60
employees and a fleet ofmore
than40 cranes, CraneRental
&Riggingwill operate as
Barnhart andwill transition as
part of the company’snetwork
of branches. Terms of the sale
werenot disclosed.
In addition to its offices and
yard inOmaha, CraneRental
&Riggingoperates branches
inLincoln,NE andSouth
SiouxCity,NE. The company
alsohas offices inDesMoines,
CedarRapids,Davenport and
Ames, IA and inSiouxFalls,
SD.
Barnhart said that customers
in theMidwestwill continue
to receive the same services
theyhave received through
the years, but now as apart
of theBarnhart “OneTeam”
network, theywill have access
to the company’s innovative
rigging systems,wind turbine
up-tower services, project
cargo logistics capabilities, and
adepartment ofmore than40
engineers.

Hauling acquired
by NCSGCorp.
NCSGCrane&HeavyHaul
has acquiredDraytonValley
andCalgary-basedTucker
OilfieldHaulingLtd. Tucker
supplies rigging, liftingand
heavyhaul services to the
energy industry. The company
was founded in1994by
RichardTucker.CoryCrosby
bought into thebusiness in
2011.

upstream,midstreamand
other customers inWestern
Canadaandwe are excited to

Goldhofers
for Deep
South
Deep SouthCrane &Rigging
has addedGoldhofer dual-
lane axle lines and self
propelled heavy dutymodular
transporters to its fleet.
Included in the order were
PST/SL-E self propelled
transporterswith hydrostatic
drive, 52 axle lines and four
power packs.
“With the newGoldhofer
axle lines, we can handle our
transport assignmentswith
more flexibility than ever,” said
Mitch Landry, president, Deep
South. The company will now
have 20 dual-lane axle lines
fromGoldhofer, including the
THP/DLmodules.
