Bauma China review
Bigwas certainly beautiful on the XCMG stand, with the company
making an entry into the large-scalemining sector with the XDE240
diesel electric rigid hauler, which offers a 230 tonne payload capacity.
Accompanying XCMG’s newmining truckwas this 400 tonne class
excavator, the XE4000, whichwas fittedwith a 22m

bucket.
Bauma Chinawas a first outing
for themobile crushers and
screens being built by a joint-
venture between Liugong and
Metso. Units on display included
this 40 tonne LMJ106 crusher.
Sandvik Construction used the
show for the launch of its Tiger
DG tophammer crawler drill
rigs. The DG800 pictured here is
for 64 –127mm diameter holes
and is designed to be a basic
machinewhich is robust, offering
productivity and reliability.
The International Rental
Conference (IRC) Asia took place
the day before the Bauma China.
The event attracted 280 industry
executives .
