Association (SAIA) Alliance, a new
Rolling Towers/Mobile Scaffold:
Inspection, Maintenance, and Use
Tip Sheet has been developed.
The new tip sheet is designed
to assist workers in the proper
inspection and maintenance of

crucial safety information into
the hands of the person who
requires it most, the worker,” said
Marty Coughlin, SAIA president.

is an essential component of
industry outreach, and the SAIA’s
Alliance program has produced
a substantial amount of quality
safety information. The scaffold
and access industry can only
benefit from this process, there
is no down side to prevention of
accidents, and credit must go to
both the OSHA and SAIA’s Alliance
team, who have combined to
produce a concise and productive
process.”
This tip sheet adds to the
collection of complimentary OSHA
and SAIA tools for scaffold and
access workers. The documents

APEX show
draws nearer
The eighth APEX aerial platform
exhibition will be held June
24-25 in Amsterdam.
APEX is moving away from its
long-time home in Maastricht
to boost visitor numbers
and increase the show’s
international appeal.
Amsterdam RAI is the city’s
largest showground and one of
Europe’s best known spaces.
It will benefit APEX by offering
a larger outside area than the
previous venue in Maastricht.
ARA adjusts
U.S. forecasts
The American Rental
Association (ARA) continues
to make bullish forecasts for
the U.S. rental market with 7
percent growth expected this
year followed by increases of
9.2 percent next year and 12.9
percent in 2015.
The 7 percent figure is slightly
lower than the 7.3 percent
estimated by the association
this year, reflecting a modest
slowdown of the economy, but
it remains an extremely high
rate and in stark contrast to
Europe where rental market
growth this year is expected to
be around 1 percent.
Gehl Tier 4 telehandler
debuted for N.A. market
Gehl has released its RS5-19
