TVH Group joins IPAF
The complete TVH Group is
joining IPAF, with the TVH
headquarters in Belgium as the
main IPAF member and 18 other
TVH companies in 15 countries
holding IPAF group membership.
The Thermote & Vanhalst
(TVH) Group was established in
1969 and has built a reputation
as a dealer/distributor for forklift
trucks, aerial work platforms
and industrial in-plant vehicles.
It operates across all continents,
with more than 20,000 customers
in over 160 countries.
TVH director of business
development Kristof Coudenys
said: “As a result of the expansion
of our rental activities and the
growing sales of aerial platform
parts, we are convinced that our
IPAF membership will further
show the commitment that
TVH has in the international
aerial world. With this message,
we underline our image as a
determined and consistent
IPAF highlighted the safe and productive use of MEWPs at the BICES exhibition
in Beijing, China in the last quarter of 2013. The Federation ran “show and tell”
demonstrations of how MEWPs can make work at height safe and productive,
and featured its Chinese language videos on various aspects of MEWP safety.
Mr Su Zimeng, secretary-general
of the China Construction Machinery
Association (CCMA) and general
manager of BAICE (organiser of
BICES), said after visiting the IPAF
stand: “We all enjoyed the demo
given by Raymond Wat (regional
manager, IPAF South East Asia) and
his team, which we think is one of
the highlights at BICES 2013.”
