he 2014 SC&RA Annual
Conference is fast approaching,
and this year’s event is expected
to bring together more than 700 of the
industry’s owners, senior executives and
top managers at the Boca Raton Resort in
Boca Raton, FL. Featuring a week of highly
organized and beneficial networking
events, committee meetings and education
sessions, the Annual Conference, from
April 22–26, will set the stage for a
productive and unforgettable year.
What truly distinguishes the Annual
Conference is a seamless mix of executive
networking opportunities, access to
valuable insights from renowned speakers
and the chance to participate in an array
of extracurricular events and activities.
Professional and personal advancement

Among this year’s highlights will be
the ever-popular Products Fair, with
90 exhibitors scheduled. Each year, the

past, contributions this year will take
cumulative donations to over half a

Recognition dinner
Although it closes out the conference,
albeit in glamorous style, the Annual
Awards and Recognition Dinner is a
highly anticipated affair – with this year’s
event set to host 300 attendees.
This formal evening includes an outdoor
reception followed by a gourmet dinner
and program to recognize companies,
individuals and industry leaders.
Awards presented include longevity
recognition for 25-year through 65-year
member companies, current officers,
the Environmental Award, the Golden
Achievement Award, the President’s
Award and the Driver of the Year award.
The prestigious Hauling and Rigging Job
of the Year Awards buttress the end of
the evenng and provide an opportunity
for members to recognize their fellow
industry professionals for tremendous
accomplishments in both innovation and
application.
