Canada-basedEntrec
Corporationhas revealed
its2015businessplanwith
anet capital expenditure
programmeof CA$21million
(US$16million). Growth capital
expenditure includes the
additionof aLiebherr LR 1750
crawler crane for around
CA$7million (US$5.6million)
anda further CA$4million
(US$3million) of investment
onall terrainmobile cranes.
Anadditional CA$10million
(US$8million) hasbeen
set aside tomaintain the
company’s fleets. Entrec’s
estimated revenue for the
year ending31December
2015 ranges fromCA$200
million (US$160million) to
CA$240million (US$190
million), compared to
estimated revenueof
approximatelyCA$230million
(US$180million) for the year
ended31December 2014.

The two 10 tonne capacity
models fromGGRGroup
haveaworking radius of
24.3metres anda lifting
height of 30.7m. Pickand
carry capacity is 1.5 tonnes
and there is a safety interlock
system for theoutriggers.
Themodel is2mwidewhen
stowed.Workwill include
repair andmaintenance
of electrical infrastructure
networks, a company
spokesperson said.

Newhigh forTadano
Palfinger has exceeded
€1 billion (US$ 1.13 billion) in
annual revenue. An8.4%
increase in2014put the total
at €1.06 billion ($1.2 billion)
for the full year. Earnings
before interest and taxes, at
€66.5million ($75million), was
down 10% from €74million
($84million) a year earlier.
TheAustria-based articulating
crane, workplatform and
material handling equipment
manufacturer attributed the
decrease to fewer orders from
Europe, RussiaNorth and
SouthAmerica. The company
forecasts a new record
revenue for 2015with growth
potential inNorthAmerica,
Asia (primarily China) and in
themarine business. Since
the fourthquarter of 2014
Palfinger said it perceived
stabilising demand.

EURO 1 BILLION
Sales for the first threequarters
(April toDecember 2014) of
Tadano’s 2015 financial year,
wereupby JPY19.3billion
(US$163million), or 15.4%
to anew record. The Japanese
cranemanufacturer reported
net sales at JPY145.1billion
($1.23billion), up from JPY
125.8billion ($1.01billion) in
the 3Qperiod fromApril to
December 2013.
Operating incomewas
upby JPY6.1billion ($51.5
million) on the sameperiod a
year earlier. Byproduct type
the largest proportionof the
income, at 67.1%of the total,
was frommobile crane sales
(all terrain, truck crane and
telescopic crawler crane),
up from65.3% in the same
period a year earlier. Increases
were also shown in all the
other products, namely truck
loader cranes and aerial
workplatforms.
Japan accounted for almost
half (46.2%) of the sales total,
closely followedbyNorth
Americawith18.4%, Europe
with11.5%, and theMiddle
Eastwith8.5%.Other than the
MiddleEast region sales, all
thesementioned abovewere
upon the sameperiod a
year earlier. For the full year,
endingMarch2015, Tadano
forecasts total net sales of
JPY198,000million
($1.672billion), up8.9%
on theprevious year. That
figure includes a 12.4% rise
for truck loader cranes and
an11.1% increase formobile
cranes. Bygeography, the
company expects increases as
follows:more than30% in the
Americas;more than20% in
Europe; above 14% in
LatinAmerica and the
Caribbean; andnearly12% in
Japan.Declines are forecast for
Oceania,MiddleEast andAsia.

has been added toHiab’shigh
capacity rangeof articulating
hydraulic cranes.Deliveries
have startedof theHiab
X-HiPro858whichoffers
anhorizontal outreachof
34.5metres and38mon the
vertical. It isdesigned for
versatility, tobe suitable for
many applications.
A remote control display is
fittedon the transmitter and an
additional external display is
mountedon thebase. It allows
thedriver to see crane capacity
information for each angleof
the jib, dependingupon the
stabilityof the truck.
