Kevin Appleton is known worldwide in the rental community through his senior leadership roles and non-executive directorships with several leading rental businesses.

 

He was CEO of Lavendon Group – Europe’s largest aerial platform rental company – for nine years up to 2011, and is currently non-executive chairman at access rental company Higher Platforms. He is also a non-exec director at Ramirent, the Nordic rental business.

 

Mr Appleton is currently managing director of Yusen Logistics (UK) Ltd, the UK subsidiary of the global warehousing, transport and freight forwarding business.

 

In his career he has also held senior positions at companies including Travis Perkins and FedEx Logistics, and is a member of the board at the UK’s Freight Transport Association (FTA).

 

Mr Appleton writes a regular rental management column in International Rental News (IRN) magazine.
