Chinese cranemanufacturer
XCMGhas launcheda trioof
latticeboom crawler cranes in
theXGC seriesbetween55and
85 tonnes capacity.
Easy transportwas a
primary requirement in the
designof the55 tonne capacity
XGC55, 75 tonneXGC75and

the track frames isunnecessary
and counterweight slabs are a
maximumof 5 tonnes so small
auxiliaryhoisting equipment
can complete counterweight
assembly,XCMG said.
All three arebasedon the
sameplatform. Interchangeable
parts include singlepulleys at
theboom ends, counterweight,
luffingmechanism, hydraulic
pumps, fixed jibs andmain
valveblocks. Benefits are to
reduce transportation, purchase
andmaintenance costs.
