SCS Single-Sided Climbing System
Stable and flexible brackets
for single-sided applications
For the Xayaburi Hydroelectric Power Dam
in Laos, the new SCS system with multi-part
brackets is flexibly adapted to suit the
geometry of the structure.
With the SCS 250, the formwork can be retracted
up to 62 cm by means of the carriage. The smaller
bracket SCS 190 with a width of 1.90 m requires
less space. The formwork is tilted for striking.
During use on the world‘s currently largest
construction site – the expansion of the
Panama Canal – the SCS system has proven
itself thousandfold.
With PERI SCS, the loads from the
fresh concrete pressure are transferred
without formwork ties through the
brackets into the climbing anchors
of the previous concreting section.
SCS is characterized by high econo-
mic efficiency because thanks to
its modular concept with its 3-part
bracket it can be optimally adapted
to the individual requirements
and construction geometry without
great effort.
