GrandMarina Hotel in Helsinki, Finland on 11-13 June,

IDE confirms
sponsorship
deal
The Institute of Demolition Engineers (IDE)
has announced the signing of a 12month
sponsorship deal with Liebherr GB and ECY
Haulmark that will see both companies
sponsoring various IDE regional meetings
and events around the UK. The agreement
could be extended to cover a further 12
months in future.
Commenting on the deal both Liebherr
GB’s Darren Bennet and ECYHaulmark’s
Rick Yarwood jointly said “It’s a great
privilege to become associated with the
IDE and itsmembers.We hope we are
able to use our combined experience
to assist and advise the IDE and its
members in the correct use, selection and
maintenance of plant and attachments.
Liebherr and LaBounty, who are supplied
by ECYHaulmark, have a reputation for
quality and innovation around the world
and we hope we can pass on some of this
knowledge and technical ability through our
association with the IDE.”
IDE President, Duncan Rudall echoed
their comments by adding: “The IDE are
very pleased to have two prominent, well
recognised and influential companies
wanting to be associated with us and we
are certain that both parties will bring a lot
to the table.We look forward to welcoming
them into the IDE and kindly thank them for
their sponsorship.”
