TheHA46RTJ rough-terrain, articulatingboom
lift comes in two configurations, including the
Pro version andO version. ThePro version is
built for professional performance, while the
O (which stands for “optimum”) version is
designed for ease of use andmaintenance for
rental fleets and their customers. Both versions
offer the patent-pendingActiv’ShieldBar
secondary guardingdevice as an option.
The unit features a45-foot, 11-inchplatform

MECAerialWorkPlatformswill unveil a brand
new60-foot boom lift at the2015Rental Show.
The60-foot boomwill reportedly have600
pounds of lift capacity, 42 feet and8 inches of
outreach and45percent gradeability. The unit
canbe poweredby either diesel, battery orwith
a hybrid option.
Standard features include: an8-foot work
basket, a continuously rotating turret and full-
time, four-wheel drive.
A6-foot jib adds 135degrees ofmotion to the
unit and the platform rotates 180degrees each
way. The boom and riser reach full height in50
seconds and the boom canbe fully extended in
just 20 seconds. The unit’s tailswing is 3 feet,
11 inches. The inside turning radius is 6 feet, 6
inches and the boomwill have13.5 inches of
ground clearance. It canbe driven at full height,
aswell.
MECwill offer a diesel, 44hpKubota engine
or a battery powered optionwith a72-volt, 370
AHbattery pack. Hybrid is also available as an
extra option.
The boomwith a diesel engine is expected to
weigh17,900pounds and the battery version
will weigh about 18,500pounds.
